Gardeners Guild Community Meeting (Copy)
We think about our role as caretakers in planting, tending, watering, weeding, nurturing the students, staff and facilities.
Sometimes it’s the type of work where you get dirty, sometimes where you rest and absorb the energy of the sun.
You are invited to join us at our community meeting by zoom. Please find the link in our latest Guild email or by request at TJSGardenersGuild@gmail.com.

Anti-Racism Community Town Hall (Virtual)
Beloved Juniper families,
We invite you to a conversation about race, diversity, inclusion, and our community's collective anti-racist efforts. This is a space for us to each explore the meaning behind becoming an anti-racist institution, to set goals, and to hear from our community about what needs are not currently being met. We ask this humbly of our families, as we recognize that the school community at large is a vital part of our planning and our internal work. We need to hear from you all!
The teaching body will share the work we have been doing, but we invite this discussion to function as an open forum, a space in which our parents can share their experiences if they feel comfortable doing so, and a place for teachers primarily to listen to our families and their needs as we move forward, together.
Please join us to ask questions, explore our curriculum, gain insight into our ideation and planning as a faculty, and give much needed input. Please contact us if you have not received the Zoom link and would like to join.
With deep appreciation and gratitude, we acknowledge parents Nama Khalil and Rebecca Brown, who have been vitally important to progressing this work within the teaching body, and who have both donated many hours of intellectual and emotional labor to bring us to this town hall with full and open hearts.
With endless love and gratitude, The Juniper Pedagogical Counsel
Teachers Annie, Marcelle, Kate, Nicole, and Zaryana

An Introduction: Curriculum, Teachers, and Community
The Juniper School is delighted to welcome all to an informative afternoon presentation. We will meet upstairs in the First/Second Grade room. Our grade school location will be available to tour after the event.
The Juniper School teachers will take us on a journey through the Waldorf Grade School curriculum. We’ll hear about the importance of child development, stories from the classroom, and see examples of student work.
This is a presentation for current families, prospective families, grandparents, curious neighbors and friends! Do you have an interest in this holistic approach to education but wonder “What will they learn? How is critical thinking encouraged? What about test scores and accountability?”
Please join us and bring a friend!
Adult Community Meeting Night
Dear Juniper School Community,
Please mark your calendars! You are warmly invited to offer feedback and inspiration as we take next steps in securing a larger physical location for The Juniper School. We will meet at 636 Chase Road on Tuesday, August 13th at 6:30 pm. The Board of Trustees will provide updates on key information and possible scenarios with regards to the possible purchase of a long term campus. We want to hear your good thoughts about what we are building together. This meeting will be for adults and babies in arms only, and childcare will not be available.
Additionally, we have a short survey as an opportunity to offer feedback electronically, which will also help the Board plan for our evening together and hear from those unable to attend. Please check your email for this survey or reach out to any one of the board members.
With warm appreciation,
The Juniper School Board of Trustees
